Rep. Gifford’s remarkable progress.

It’s remarkable the progress Representative Gabrielle Gifford is making.  The breathing tube has been removed, which is  miraculous at this early state.

It was a couple weeks before my son’s breathing tube was removed.  His challenges seemed insurmountable during that period, and the days, and weeks that followed.

Is it possible that the power of prayer, positive thinking,  faith, and determination to live can be attributed to Gifford’s rapid healing?  I know they played a pivotal role in my son’s recovery process.  Would love to hear others thoughts on this matter.

  1. It’s been 23 years since my car crash and ensuing TBI (in the days when it was called ‘head injury). I have never responded to anyone out there before, but perhaps I should.

I had much prayer on my behalf. I didn’t have the strongest relationship with The Comforter before, but I guess He had to hit me over the head with an Oldsmobile the get me to His way of thinking! As life becomes full again, I’m getting mental faculties back. But ‘as a little child’ rings more true to me brcause I remember how I immature I knew I was then.
Would like to discuss your son’s trauma and your trauma as a mother. lisajmch@gmail.com

    1. Lisa,
I am so happy you reached out to me. To have endured such a horrific tragedy you must have a strong will, determination, and lots of angels. I am writing a book about my son’s experience, which you might be able to relate to. Searching for an agent, and hoping to publish the book in 2011.

I agree, sometimes God needs to hit us over the head to take us from the darkness to the light. What a blessing.

      Stay in touch.

      In Love and Light,
      Pattie
