I miss my kitties like crazy, but haven’t had the heart to replace them. I too, had a hover-er. Once, when I was very ill in bed, my boy kitty Harley curled himself under my arm and never left me for 24 hours! Not even to eat! If a painful moan happened to escape, he would run his scratchy tongue across my fingers. It was more attention than I got my husband-at -the time! LOL Ahhhh….the good old days!
