_D7A6199copy (426x640)Joy Radio interviewed Suzanne Ruff, author of “The Reluctant Donor.” Suzanne’s book not only shed’s light on the importance of being an organ donor for the thousands of people who suffer from Polycystic Kidney Disease but also explains how this devastating disease affected her family for generations. Absolutely inspiring!

Suzanne is a member of the National Kidney Foundation’s Living Donor Council Executive Committee. She is currently working as a freelance writer for the Mooresville News (Charlotte Observer).  Her story, “Lost and Found” was published in February 2011 in “Chicken Soup for the Soul:Grieving & Recovery.” Suzanne and her husband, Bill,  live in Mooresville, NC.  They have two daughters, Rachel and Colette.
