Jacqueline GumJoyRadio was honored to host  Jacqueline Gum , author of Confessions of a Corporate Slut, on March 7, 2012. Jacqueline discussed her  profound and enlightening novel. She spoke about how woman’s role in marriage has been in a state of evolution since the beginning of time. In the 70′s and 80′s most women were stay-at-home moms. Then the feminist movement came along and there was a segment of women who blended the old with the new and became “professional” corporate wives. But was it worth the price they had to pay in the end – giving up their  passion and relinquishing their power, all for the price of love?

Listen to Jacquie’s  interview as she speaks about the common themes of her novel – love, broken dreams, courage, and renewal.  Confessions of a Corporate Slut is a must read!

Thank you, Jacqueline for being a guest on the show. JoyRadio is looking forward to having you back to discuss your upcoming novel, The Accuser’s Burden.

Helen ValleauAs host of Joy Radio I was honored to interview Helen Valleau, author of “A Year of Possibilities,” January 26, 2012. Then she elaborated on the four necessary tools needed for visioning work. What are they? You’ll have to listen to find out.

Joy Radio feels honored to have hosted Soul Coach Kimberly Carroll yesterday, 1.4.12. During Kimberly’s interview she discussed what a soul coach does; mentioned the diversified needs of her clients; shed insight on why she’s referred to as a “spiritual bad girl”; and lastly discussed a new form of New Year’s resolutions.  The “5 Resolutions from the Inside Out” are – breathe, practicing gratitude, adjust your body, being of service, and joy now.

Time moved so swiftly that we were unable to delve into Kimberly’s next Soul Coaching Online/Tele-Program which begins on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.  Below please find a preview of what you can expect.

What is the Soul Coaching Program?

The Soul Coaching Program is a daily 6-week mind/body/spirit intensive to renovate your life and establish routines that will sustain that transformation indefinitely. The program consists of weekly group workshop sessions (maximum of 8 students), daily exercises to be integrated into your “real life” (20 minutes to a couple of hours depending on your schedule), my daily audio recordings with visualizations and the day’s instructions, my daily email check-ins and unlimited email support, and an online classmate discussion group.

What are the benefits of the Soul Coaching Program?

The Soul Coaching Program can help you define your life purpose, release blockages that are keeping you stuck, deepen your relationships, activate your intuition, declutter your life, reduce stress and anxiety, cultivate your creativity, and increase your personal power. Participants in the program report a dramatic increase in the joy, clarity, love, confidence, and sense of meaning in their lives.

What specific tools are used in the Soul Coaching Program?

Visualizations, physical cathartic work, intention-setting, meditation, creative exploration, life assessments, nature, humour and play, music, and community momentum are all key tools used to connect you deeply to your center and create your best life.

Within the program, these tools are used within the symbolic framework of the Four Elements (Air, Water, Fire, and Earth) to help activate different energies for the exploration of different parts of self. Air works with the intellectual self and symbolizes the clearing of mental and physical clutter. Water works with our emotional self and symbolizes the cleansing of emotional wounds to improve the flow of love in your life. Fire symbolizes our Spiritual Self and the unleashing of your passion and overcoming fears and blocks. Earth symbolizes our physical self and its nurturing, detoxing, and strengthening.

Where are the weekly workshops held?

If you are enrolled in the Online/Tele-Program, weekly workshops are held virtually via teleconference call. If you are enrolled in the Toronto Soul Coaching Program, weekly workshops are held in downtown Toronto on the subway line.

Many thanks to Kimberly for being a guest on Joy Radio.
