Outstanding Joy Radio show today with Helene Atwan, director of Beacon Press and Howard Yoon , partner at  Ross Yoon Agency promoting Words & Music,  A Literary Feast in New Orleans… one of the best writers’ conferences anywhere, November 28-December 2.

Today was the first in our interview series to give our listeners–authors, aspiring authors, and readers a glimpse into this marvelous resource for those dedicated to good writing.Helene and Howard gave expert advice on issues as How an author gets their book before a first class publishing house? How do you lead a writer through the complex maze of making a success out of the narrative non-fiction? How important is non-fiction narrative at this time? And, most importantly, why should developed writers register for the Words and Music festival? I’d love to give you the cliff notes but that would spoil the show.

Helene began her career at Random House and has worked at Knopf, Viking, Farrar, Straus and Giroux, and Simon and Schuster. Howard, an agent for 20 years, specializes in narrative nonfiction, history, science, religion, culture, business and food. Visit Words & Music  or e-mail Faulkhouse@aol.com to learn more about the conference and to sign up today, Trust me, the investment is worth every penny!
