After the Show: Palmetto Technology Serves SC Lowcountry

Back in 2010, a couple of computer geeks (Tina Arnoldi and Michael Carnell) saw a number of nonprofits struggling with their technology and lacking the funds to pay for support. Their mission is to provide technology support, training, and resources to the South Carolina Lowcounty not-for-profit community. Through their website, local nonprofits can submit a request for tech support. Their services are volunteer based and free of charge, so that nonprofits can save their money for the things that really matter.

Is your nonprofit struggling? Are donations down and expenses up? Are you spending your nonprofit’s hard earned money on tech support which could be used toward furthering its mission? Could your agency benefit from free tech trainings or webinars on tools and techniques to further expand its message? Does your nonprofit need help with broken hardware, unruly databases, software, network implementation and Google tools? Listen to today’s Joy Radio Show here and see how other local nonprofits – Charleston HALO, Increasing HOPE and Junior Achievement of Coastal SC are bringing an end to their shrinking funds by utilizing the services of Palmetto Technology Fund (PATH).

Interested in volunteering your technical skills or helping with events? PATH has a spot for you. Visit their website: www.palmettotechnologyhub.org and submit a ticket today.

A huge heart-felt thanks goes out to our guests today on JOY Radio: Lindsey Stewart -PATH’S Program Coordinator for educating and enlightening our listeners with the multitude of free services available to nonprofits. And to Kim Clifton – Charleston HALOS, Dorothea Bernique – Increasing HOPE, and Chad Vail – Junior Achievement of Coastal SC, for sharing how their nonprofit organizations have benefited from PATH’S free services.

If you know of a nonprofit who could benefit from PATH’S services, please feel free to forward this link.
