“Be The Change You Want to See” – Ghandi

I’ve had that verse printed on my pig chalkboard for years. Read it dozens of times a day. Quoted it more times than I can remember. But it wasn’t until I fell into the throes of unemployment, traveling rapidly into the abyss, that Ghandi’s words of wisdom rang in my ears, and reversed my direction mid-stream.

What I realized was my fears blocked my forward motion. They clipped my wings, and prevented my adventurous flight. Once cognizant that the only thing standing between me and my dreams was “me”, down came the walls.  Saying “YES” to myself… “YES” to creating the life I  always dreamed of… “YES” to risk… “YES” to change… “YES” to stepping into my authenticity, I effortlessly slid into my passion, finding my joy.

I dreamed of hosting a radio show one day. I didn’t have the answers to the who, what, where, when and how’s, but I never let go of my dream. On May 15, 2011, I launched my first Blog Talk Radio Show – JOYRadio: People Inspiring People.

JOYRadio is all about people from all walks of life, sharing their life-stories, hopefully inspiring others to find their own personal joy.  I don’t know where the show is going, how many people’s lives it will touch,  what pivotal degree of change it will create, but I do know this – I am having the time of my life being of service to world, stepping into the unknown, and giving wings to my spirit.

Leap and the net will appear!
